Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden Rockford, Illinois
Since late March I have been dropping by Klehm once or twice a week to watch the trees and wildflowers bloom. There's always something new. Click the photos for larger versions. And if you're in the Rockford area, be sure to stop by Klehm and do some exploring of your own.
Forgive my weak attempts at photography and, even more, my forays into wildflower identification. If I have it wrong, please let me know!

A mustard. Flowers and young leaves are edible. Of course cyanide is edible, if you have no immediate plans.
